Logistics and safety

Maps are at 1:10,000 scale and created from OpenStreetMap. The event uses the MapRun system (MapRun7 and MapRunG for some smartwatches); MapRunG entries do not require a PIN. Online entries close at 4pm on the day of the event to allow for map printing. Entry fees are £3.50 for members of an orienteering club, £5.50 for non-members; Mole Valley Orienteering Club members enter free. If the event is cancelled, refunds will be made after deduction of unavoidable club expenses.

U16s must be accompanied by an adult. Competitors are asked to wear high visibility clothing, reflective strips or additional lighting, and to carry a whistle. Results will appear in the MapRun app and on the club website after the event. Participants are responsible for their own safety and should follow the British Orienteering guide for participants.
