English's Ridge Rumble is a trail race at Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville, NY. The event offers the following distances:
- 50 km
- 20 Miler
- 10 Miler
The course is an approximately 10.4 mile loop with about 1,300 feet of elevation gain per loop. Trail surfaces vary from double-track on mulch beds, gravel, or grass to short paved park road segments, with some technical sections of rocks and roots. The start and finish are at the Reserve Picnic Shelter.
There are two aid stations: one at the Start/Finish and one on course passed twice per loop (near miles ~2.4 and ~6.6). Typical offerings include water, Skratch, fruit, pickles, PB&Js, chips, pretzels, Oreos, candy, and post-race ramen with vegan options. Race day in-person registration is available at the Reserve Picnic Shelter, and runners are asked to park in the main beach lot and follow the marked 1/4 mile path to the Start/Finish; the disc golf parking lot is for drop off and volunteers only.
The event is USATF-sanctioned and organized by Salt City Trail Racing. Refunds are not granted; deferrals are available for pregnancy, injury, or volunteering if slots remain. Distance changes are permitted until online registration closes. Time cutoffs allocate roughly 6 hours for the 10 miler, 7 hours for the 20 miler, and 8 hours for the 50 km.
