English's Ridge Rumble - April 18, 2026, Green Lakes State Park

Salt City Trail Racing, in partnership with Green Lakes State Park, presents the ninth annual English's Ridge Rumble. The event offers three trail distances:

  • 50 km
  • 20 Miler
  • 10 Miler

The course is an approximately 10.4 mile loop with about 1,300 feet of elevation gain. Trails vary from double-track (mulch beds, gravel, or grass) to short paved sections, with some technical segments featuring rocks and roots. The route passes features named The Serengeti, Round Lake, the Powerline Bypass, Quarry Hill, open fields, and areas of old growth forest.

There are two aid stations: one at the start/finish area and one on course that is passed twice per loop at about miles 2.4 and 6.6. Aid offerings include water, electrolyte drink, fruit, sandwiches, snacks, and candy. Post-race ramen will be available with vegan options.

Registration details: prices increase after December 1 and again one month before the race; registration closes April 16. Runners who register after April 2 are not guaranteed a t-shirt. Refunds are not granted. Deferrals are available for pregnancy, injury, or for those electing to volunteer if volunteer slots remain. Distance changes are permitted until online registration closes. A 5K road and trail run at SUNY Morrisville on April 25, 2026 supporting student development in conservation and environmental science. The event features a tree planting, trail sections that may be muddy, awards by age group, and shirts.

A muddy obstacle-course festival in Deansboro, New York offering 5 mile, 5K and kids runs plus live music and local brews. Proceeds support the Barden Adventure Scholarship and other charitable efforts.
