Enchanted Forest 6-Hour Ultra
The Enchanted Forest 6-Hour Ultra is a timed trail event held on the Roosevelt Forest trails in Stratford, CT. The course is an irregular loop of about 2.3 miles per lap with approximately 191 feet of elevation gain per lap, using single and double track with roots, rocks, and rolling hills. Course markings include pink flags and white signs.
The pavilion at Roosevelt Forest (700 Peters Lane) serves as the main aid station and packet pickup location. Hydration and a variety of food options are provided on course, with pizza offered around midday and a sponsored specialty pizza by Athletic Brewing Company. Each participant receives a chip bib to register every completed lap.
Awards are given to the top three women and top three men for most miles at the end of the six hours. Participants who complete more than four hours during the event receive an Enchanted Ultra Event Medallion. The event supports several local charities including the Forest Commission, a veterans museum, and a library.
Field size is limited to 40 registered participants plus 10 invitation-only entries. Registration is final with no refunds, bib transfers, or deferrals. Participants must be at least 18 years old or have a parental or guardian signed waiver. Parking is limited; larger vehicles are directed to a side lot and RVs are not allowed.
