Enchanted Forest Ultra Run

The event takes place at Roosevelt Forest on 700 Peters Lane in Stratford, Connecticut. The main event is the Enchanted 6 Hour, where participants can run, jog, hike, or walk for up to 6 hours. They can choose to complete as many miles as they wish.

The course consists of an irregular loop measuring 2.3 miles per lap on single and double-track trails. The trail features roots, rocks, and rolling hills, with 191 feet of elevation gain per lap. The course is marked with pink flags and white signs.

An aid station at the pavilion will provide hydration, a variety of foods, and pizza options around noon. Participants will use a chip bib to register each lap. The event is limited to 40 general participants and 10 invitation-only participants.

Podium awards are given to the top three women and top three men for the most miles completed. Any participant who completes over 4 hours during the 6-hour event receives a medallion.

The event supports several local charities, including the Forest Commission, Veterans Museum, and Library. The event motto is "Costumes Optional, Smiles are Not!" Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
