Enchanted Forest Trail Races

The Enchanted Forest Trail Races take place in Red River, New Mexico, using trails in the Carson National Forest and the Enchanted Forest cross country ski area. The courses traverse high alpine terrain on the southern end of the Sangre De Cristos and include substantial elevation changes.

  • Heavy Half Marathon - 14.7 miles

Entry fees follow tiered pricing with early, standard, late, and race weekend rates. Examples of early pricing are The Face Challenge $80, Heavy Half Marathon $115, Trail Marathon $125. Entry fees are non refundable and non transferable. Fees include place winner awards, shirts or other race mementos, aid station supplies, a finisher's memento, and post race refreshments.

The refund policy provides an 85% credit of the registration fee for cancellations 30 days or more before the event, excluding UltraSignup fees. Cancellations less than 30 days before the event receive no refund or credit. Credits may be applied to future Gemini Adventures races for 12 months.
