Enchanted Forest Trail Races
Enchanted Forest Trail Races take place in Red River, New Mexico on July 25, 2026. The event offers three trail distances that run through Carson National Forest and the high alpine terrain of the Enchanted Forest cross country ski area. Courses include dense forest, singletrack river trail sections, dirt jeep and double track roads, and steep ski slope travel where some segments are off trail and marked by tree markings.
Aid stations are positioned along the routes and will be stocked with ice water, sports gels, chips, Skittles, and a Precision electrolyte drink. Cups will not be provided at aid stations. Radio contact and basic medical supplies will be available at aid stations. Dogs on leashes are permitted at the Start and Finish areas and at aid stations but are not allowed on the course.

Male and female winners of each race receive complimentary entries for the following year. Age group awards cover multiple brackets from under 20 through 60 plus.
