ECT 15 : Pouch Cove, NL
ECT 15 is a 15 km trail race taking place near Pouch Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador. The course follows the Stiles Cove Path from Pouch Cove toward Flatrock. The event is organized by ECT Sampler Series and supported by The East Coast Trail Association, The Outfitters, and Train 4 Trails. Event insurance is provided by CARA Canadian Adventure Racing Association.
Participants are required to carry a cell phone and a whistle. The event is held rain or shine and runners are expected to be responsible for their own kit, nutrition, and clothing for variable conditions. Each runner may have one drop bag; a drop bag will be accessible at the finish area.
Entry fees are listed in a range from USD 39 to 79. The ECT 50 Sampler Season Pass registers a participant for both ECT 15 and the ECT 50% Half Marathon held the following week. Check in and bib pickup are handled at the starting area, Memorial Park in Pouch Cove. Bib transfers to other individuals are not permitted; moving a registration to another race in the sampler series may be possible with advance notice.
