Hillcrest Pharmasave Paradise Figure 8(K)

The Hillcrest Pharmasave Paradise Figure 8(K) takes place in Paradise on Saturday, August 8, 2026. The race starts and finishes on Sarah Davis Way next to the Paradise Double Ice Complex. The route follows the T'Railway, a well groomed trail near equivalent to road conditions, and laps two local ponds: Neil's Pond first and then Octagon Pond after returning past the start area.

The event is open to runners. Strollers are not permitted in NLAA sanctioned events and the Figure 8 Race is not available for participants intending to walk. Participants are asked to plan to finish within 60 to 75 minutes to allow for the post race reception, age group awards and giveaways. Headphones and ear buds are not permitted in accordance with NLAA policy.

Registration is handled through the Trackie platform and the event is capped at 125 registrants. Entry fees are listed as 20 dollars for NLAA members and 25 dollars for non NLAA members. Finisher medals will be available to all participants. Bib pickup is on race morning at the Paradise Park bandstand. A post race reception will be held at the Paradise Park bandstand with refreshments, snacks, prize draws and age group certificates. A 25 km event in St. John's with both a solo 25 km and a two person relay. The course starts at Middle Cove Beach and finishes near Stiles Cove Path, organized by Joy Run to support mental health and suicide prevention.

A seaside trail race in Witless Bay, NL, featuring an approximately 11 km loop on Mickeleens Path. The course is unflagged but GPX files and route downloads are available through the event and its Strava club.

Trail race from Maddox Cove to Cape Spear in St. John's, NL, listed as 9.3 km. The course is not fully flagged, GPX is available on request, and the entry includes a Parks Canada day pass fee.

Cross country races on a 2 km grass loop in Pippy Park with 2 km and 5 km distances plus a new mixed age 4 x 800 m relay.
