Sea-Hawks XC Season Opener

The event takes place on September 14, 2024 in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador at the Pippy Park Frisbee Golf Field across Prince Philip Drive from the Confederation Building. The course is a 2 km grass loop and is the same course used for the NLAA provincial cross country championships.

Distances offered:

2 km for athletes born 2011-2014
5 km for athletes born 2010 and older

The registration fee is CAD 20.00 per registrant. Additional non-member fees apply: CAD 5.00 for senior non-members and CAD 1.00 for U14 non-members. Payment is online and a small processing fee applies. The regular registration deadline was September 12, 2024 and registration is listed as closed. The event shows 119 total registrants and 18 participating clubs.

Chip timing is provided by Athletics NorthEast. Medals are awarded to the top three in each age category. Parking is available at the College of the North Atlantic campus. Bib pickup is available the day before at MUN Fieldhouse seating area next to the indoor track or on the day of the event at the race venue.
