Sea-Hawks XC Season Opener

The event takes place at the Pippy Park Frisbee Golf Field, across Prince Philip Drive from the Confederation Building in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

It is a cross country race run on a 2 km grass loop. The course will be the same as the one used for the 2024 AUS Championships. Parking is available at the College of the North Atlantic campus.

Distances offered:

2 km for athletes born 2013 to 2016
5 km for athletes born 2012 and older

A new 4 x 800 m relay is included. For the first year, relay teams may be all ages and all genders.

The regular registration deadline is August 28, 2026 at 10:00pm Newfoundland Time. Registration fees list a base charge of CAD 20.00 for the first distance. Additional non-member fees apply: CAD 5.00 for Senior non-members and CAD 1.00 per U14 non-member registrant. Payment is online and a small processing fee applies.
