  • 8M trail run

For the new 25K RUCK event, participants must carry a minimum of 20 pounds (excluding food and water) for the entire race. All packs will be weighed at the start.

Logistics

Packet pickup is available on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Des Peres Fleet Feet location, and on race day starting at 7:00 AM at the park entrance. The start area is near the entry gate to West Tyson County Park.

The course features multiple aid stations located approximately at 3.5M, 8M, 12.5M, 16M, 19.5M, 24M, and 28.5M. The event is a cup-free race, so participants must bring their own water bottle or hydration pack. A drop bag area will be available near the start line. Bags will be moved to the finish line, which is also the halfway point for the 50K. All unclaimed items will be donated to charity.

Policies

There is a cutoff time of approximately nine hours for all races. For 50K runners, there is an intermediate cutoff of approximately four hours for the first loop. Participants may drop from the 50K to the 25K up to one week prior to race day. Bib transfers are allowed until April 10, 2025, via a specific process on the UltraSignup website. There are no refunds, deferrals, or waitlists. The event is organized by the Saint Louis Ultrarunners Group (SLUG), whose members receive a $10 discount on registration.
