Trail Running Events at Dominion Energy Riverrock
The Riverrock trail running program in Richmond runs from 05/15/2026 to 05/17/2026 at the Belle Isle Parking Lot, Tedegar Street and Brown's Island Way, Richmond, VA 23219. The schedule includes three separate trail races over the festival weekend.
- 5K Belle Isle Blitz, chip timed trail course similar to the Filthy 5K
- 10K James River Scramble, roughly 6 miles including riverfront sections
- 13.1 Miles Bust the Banks Half, urban single track on the banks of the James River
The Belle Isle Blitz is described as a chip timed, approximately 5K trail race with a course similar to the Filthy 5K but without a mud pit; mud conditions are not guaranteed. The James River Scramble covers roughly 6 miles of trail and passes the Canal Walk, the James River Park System, Belle Isle, and the Floodwall. Bust the Banks is set on Richmond's urban single track system and involves features such as tree limbs, banks to climb, downhill sections, rapids and rock-lined riverbank terrain, and views of the city skyline.
