Dodge the Deer 5K & Kids Races

Dodge the Deer is a trail running event scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Schodack Island State Park, NY. The main event is a 5K on a flat, non-technical unpaved trail described as having minimal bumps and limited technical features. The course is presented as beginner-friendly and suitable for runners, walkers, families, and children.

Children's events run alongside the 5K and include short sprint and mile options. The park charges a six dollar fee per vehicle.

A 5K trail run through the orchard at Indian Ladder Farms on May 10, 2026, with a hard cider mimosa provided after the finish and non alcoholic options; top 1st to 3rd place finishers aged 21 and over receive craft cider bottles.
