Summer Fest Trail Run

The event takes place Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Lawson Lake Park in Feura Bush, New York. It is held as part of the Albany County Summer Fest.

The course is a 1.25 mile loop that passes a view of Lawson Lake and follows a scenic creek within the park trail system. About 0.4 mile of each loop is on pavement and the remainder is on trail. Entry fee includes a meal ticket.

Individual participation options include:

  • Two laps, distance 2.5M
  • Four laps, distance 5M
  • One-hour individual format, laps counted

Teams may enter with unlimited members; each team member may run one or more laps.

The race has a one-hour time limit. Once one hour is reached, no new laps may begin, but participants already on the course may complete the lap they are on. Awards are given to the top three M, F, and Non-Binary finishers in each individual category and to the top three teams in the team division based on most laps completed; tie-breaks are decided by how quickly teams completed those laps.

A Summer Festival follows the run; no registration is required for the festival. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
