Dirty Santa Trail Run

The Dirty Santa Trail Run is an off-road running event held in Lenoir, North Carolina. This race serves as the fifth and final event in the Foothills Run Series. The event centers around the Lenoir Rotary Soccer Complex, which serves as both the starting and finishing location for the participants.

The competition features a single distance:

  • 5 Miles

The course is designed with a variety of surfaces to provide a diverse running experience. It includes approximately 3 miles of single-track trail on the Zack's Fork Mountain Bike Trail. Participants also traverse nearly 1.4 miles of natural fields and gravel paths, along with roughly 0.6 miles of hardtop surface.

Post-race amenities include a s'mores station and hot cocoa for participants. The event features an awards ceremony where top finishers select gifts in a Dirty Santa style. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female runners, as well as the top two finishers in the Masters (40-49) and Grandmasters (50 and up) categories. Additionally, medals are provided for the top three male and female finishers across various age groups, ranging from 14 and under to 70 and over.
