Registration is limited to 350 participants due to shuttle and parking capacity. HOKA is the presenting sponsor and will have demo shoes available. Early entry fees listed in the event information include: 21 km $70 (includes shuttle), 10 km $55 (includes shuttle), and 5 km $45 (includes shuttle). Online registration opens in September 2025 and the last day for online registration is April 11, 2026. Entry fees increase on January 1 and again on April 5. No refunds are offered; registrations may be transferred to another 2026 event if requested at least two weeks before the event.

Course, logistics and services

The courses run through desert-like grasslands with single-track trails, rocky sections and sagebrush. Runners can expect views of the Thompson River valley and the city of Kamloops; birds and deer are often seen along the route. Trails are marked with Dirty Feet flags and course maps are provided.

There is no parking at the race site. Participants are asked to park at shuttle pickup areas (for example 732-786 Windsor Ave or near 1200 8th St) and use the provided shuttles. Race packages are available for pickup at Runner’s Sole in Kamloops on the Friday and Saturday before the event. The start/finish area offers stocked food and drink; aid stations vary by distance (none on-course for 5 km, one for 10 km, two for 21 km).
