Dirty Feet Trail Run #1 takes place in Lac Du Bois Grasslands Park in Kamloops, BC on April 12, 2026. Distances offered:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km
  • 21 km

Registration is limited to 350 participants. Entry fees (early) are $45 for 5 km, $55 for 10 km, and $70 for 21 km; fees include the shuttle and will increase on January 1 and again on April 5. Online registration closes on April 11, 2026. There is no refund policy; registrations may be transferred to another 2026 event if requested at least two weeks before the event.

Course and facilities

Courses run through grassland single-track trails with rocky sections and sagebrush, with views of the Thompson River valley and the city of Kamloops. Off-trail areas may contain cactus. Trails are marked with Dirty Feet flags. Route maps are provided for each distance.

Aid stations:

  • 5 km: no on-course aid stations; start/finish area stocked with water, electrolyte drink and snacks
  • 10 km: one aid station with the same items
  • 21 km: two aid stations with the same items

Dirty Feet merchandise (t-shirts, hoodies, hats) will be available for purchase; cash, debit card and credit card are accepted. Optional participant medals can be purchased in advance for $10 or on race day for $15.

Logistics

There is no parking at the race site. Event shuttles run from the Windsor Avenue pickup area (732-786 Windsor Ave) and from near 1200 8th St; shuttle service returns runners to their vehicles after the race. Race packages are available for pick-up in Kamloops at 1395 Hillside Drive on the days before the event. HOKA is the presenting sponsor and will have demo shoes available.
