Event Details

The Dirty 30 Sweaty 60 is a timed trail running event on February 14, 2026. Participants choose to run for either 30 or 60 minutes on a looped course. The event takes place at Camp Barrabadeen near Tinaroo Dam.

Course and Format

The event uses a single loop course of approximately 1.5 km. Runners complete as many laps as possible within their chosen time limit (30 or 60 minutes). Only laps completed before the time cut-off count for results. The course is described as featuring a mix of terrain and obstacles. Past obstacles have included a 100m wade, hay bales, a gate crawl, a "Nuisance Hill", a downhill section, a beach run, single track, a boulder hop, monkey bars, and a slip 'n' slide. Starts may be staggered or in waves to manage bottlenecks.

Logistics

Online entry is required and numbers are limited. Entry closes on Wednesday, February 11 at 8:00 PM. Entry fees are listed as free for participants 12 and under ("Grubs"), $10 for juniors (13-17 years), and $20 for open category (18+). A full refund is available for cancellations before entries close. Dinner is not included in the entry fee for 2026. Post-race, water and a selection of sweet and savoury snacks are supplied. Participants must bring their own cup or drinking device.

Camping is available on-site for the Saturday night; interested participants must contact the campsite caretaker directly to book a site, as the venue is booked out by the organizer.
