The DirtRun Wyre Wizard Trail takes place on 15 March 2026 at Wyre Forest Visitor Centre, Callow Hill, Kidderminster. The organiser is Pulse Events and the event status is open with entries closing on 10 March 2026. Two course options are offered:

  • Half Marathon - 13 miles
  • Super Seven - 7.6 miles

The route runs on forest trails and includes varied contours and sections through ancient trees. Competitors must finish within 4 hours. Age limits apply: the half marathon is for over 17s and the Super Seven is open to those over 14.

Facilities, safety and entry terms

The event provides race timing, special finishers medals for all, category prizes, medical support and a tail runner. Routes are fully signed and marshalled, with a public address and commentary, and four water stations offering water and sweets. Insurance cover is provided. The Wyre Forest cafe will be open on the day.

Parking at the Visitor Centre uses a pay and display system; participants are asked to display a parking ticket or Forestry parking permit. No refunds are issued under any circumstances, but entries may be transferred once to another DirtRun event if the organiser is notified before the event. Take on The Holly Challenge on 24 January 2026 in Lightmoor Nature Reserve with distances from 5K to marathon and just 50 places available. Enjoy a scenic lane route, full support and a finisher medal.

Run scenic trails across the Shropshire Hills and Long Mynd at The Icing on the Cake on 31 Jan 2026 with marathon, half and 10k options. Finish by the National Trust tea rooms and join the cake competition for a sweet post race treat.

Join the DirtRun Dudmaston 10k on 1 Feb 2026 for a scenic off road 10 km through Comer Woods at Dudmaston Estate. Enjoy a finisher medal and goodie, with category prizes including real ale for top performers.

A self-navigated fell race on Cannock Chase of about 26.5–27 km with 540 m ascent, five ordered checkpoints and mandatory FRA kit. Pre-entry only with SI timing, dibbers provided, parking and free refreshments at the cricket club.
