The DirtRun Wyre Wizard Trail takes place at Wyre Forest Visitor Centre, Callow Hill, Kidderminster (DY14 9XQ) on 15 Mar 2026. Two route options are offered:

  • 13 miles (Half Marathon)
  • 7.6 miles (Wyre Wizard Super Seven)

The event status is open and the entry closing date is 10 Mar 2026 23:59. Early-bird entry prices apply to the first 25 places: £20 for the Half Marathon (usual price £30) and £15 for the Super Seven (usual price £20). Registration counts and remaining places are shown on the event page.

Race features and rules

The trail runs through Wyre Forest, including routes through ancient trees and varied contours. The event provides race timing, special finishers medals for all, category prizes, medical support, a tail runner, public address and commentary, fully signed and marshalled routes, and insurance cover. Four water stations will supply water and sweets. The Wyre Forest cafe will be open.

Age limits apply: entrants must be over 17 for the Half Marathon and over 14 for the Super Seven. Competitors must finish within four hours; timing ends and the finish line will be removed after that period. No refunds are given under any circumstances, but entries may be transferred once to another DirtRun event if the organiser is notified before the event. Enjoy a festive multi terrain run around the picturesque Chasewater Reservoir with distances ranging from a Junior Run to 20 km. This undulating course features professional timing, bespoke medals, and a friendly atmosphere.

A six hour event at Kingsbury Water Park where participants complete as many 3.3 mile laps as they can. The mostly flat route passes five ponds and a river over grass, gravel and short asphalt sections.

Experience the landscape of the Shropshire Hills through a series of trail runs and walks ranging from 10 km to 80 km. Enjoy local food and historical landmarks while supporting educational charity programs.

Experience a guided 18 mile adventure across the Malvern Hills ridge and surrounding woodlands. This social group run features over 1300m of elevation and stunning panoramic views at a non competitive pace.
