Dinton 5km & 10km Summer Series

Barnes Fitness stages a four‑event summer series at Dinton Pastures Country Park near Wokingham. The 2026 series returns for its 15th year and runs on four Thursday evenings in May, June, July and August: Thursday 14 May, Thursday 18 June, Thursday 16 July and Thursday 13 August.

The route is an off‑road, traffic‑free loop around the country park. The 5 km option is one lap and the 10 km option is two laps of the same course. The surface is described as very flat with occasional wet or muddy sections after rain.

A timed 2 km youngsters race is held for children aged 4 to 14. That junior event is an out‑and‑back course with marshals positioned so children remain in sight of race staff and it takes place 30 minutes before the adult races.

Event features listed by the organiser include chip timing with instant results, a well signposted course, marshals, on‑site first aid and safeguarding, metal finisher medals, awards for podium and age groups, free event photos, and fruit available at the finish. New for 2026 is a £5 flat rate parking prebook option covering one vehicle from 06:00 to 22:00. There is also an exclusive free session offer at Shredquarters Twyford for entrants aged over 16.
