The Dimple Dell Half Marathon takes place October 10, 2026 in Sandy, Utah and is organized by Happy Trails Running. The course starts and finishes at Lone Peak Park (10140 S 700 E) and covers 13.0 miles with a total elevation gain of +1,176 ft. The route is about 95% trail and 5% paved, primarily on wood chipped and single track trails, and includes bridges, a tunnel, the Rim Trail, and a turnaround at Granite Park Aid Station. The profile is rolling with several climbs and a largest climb to a scenic vista on the Rim Trail.

Aid stations are stocked with Tailwind, water, Honey Stinger gels and waffles, fruit, and assorted snacks. Courses are marked with pink flags, ribbons, signs, and monitored by trail marshals at major intersections. There is no cutoff time. Free race photos will be provided by a course photographer without a watermark and made available using bib recognition.

Logistics include staggered registration pricing (early, normal, late), a half marathon cap of 250 runners, packet pickup the Friday before at a local running store and race day pickup at the starting area, and no same day registration. Participants receive a race shirt and a locally made finisher medal. Post race food includes items from Great Harvest Bread. Free parking is available in multiple park lots.
