Die to Run - The 5k is a 5k road/trail event on May 16, 2026 in Muskogee, Oklahoma (640 S 40th St, 74401). The course uses a loop of the Hatbox Sports Complex trail and begins and ends through the open doors of the Beechcraft Airport Hangar at Hangar 2. The 5k is scheduled to take place alongside the Die to Run Ultra endurance event; Ultra runners begin new loops on an hourly schedule.

Logistics and awards

Standard registration is listed at $30 before the week of the event. Registration increases to $35 during the week of the event and on race day. Prices increase after May 9, 2026 at 11:59 pm CDT. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by May 1; additional shirts may be available for later registrants. All 5k finishers receive a wooden Die to Run 5k finisher medal. Top male and top female finishers receive a solid cedar 3.5" x 3.5" wooden die that is laser-engraved on-site with the runner’s name and 5k time. A course map is listed as coming soon.
