Waterloop Trail Run

The Muskogee Running Club and Muskogee Parks Department present the 17th Annual Waterloop Trail Run on July 11, 2026 at Honor Heights Park in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The event features multiple running distances on a looped course through the park.

The course passes water fountains, hoses, and spray stations that cool runners during the loop, which is the origin of the event name Waterloop. A 15k distance was added in 2024 and is offered again this year; the event also retained morning start times introduced previously.

Registration opens March 23, 2026 and closes June 29, 2026. Registering by June 28 guarantees a Waterloop t shirt and qualifies for reduced entry prices of $30 for the 5k, $35 for the 10k, and $40 for the 15k. The Fun Run entry is listed at $20.

  • 5k Trail Run 5 kilometers on a trail loop
