Devils in the Canyon Trip - Springdale, CA

This is a multi-day trail running retreat organized by Bad Luck Run Club and scheduled to start on September 25, 2026. The trip centers on trail runs inside Zion National Park over several days, with group-led runs and shared logistics. Participants should be comfortable running about 15 to 17 miles on trails before registering. All participants must be at least 21 years old.

The program includes hotel accommodation (double occupancy at the Tru by Hilton in St. George), national park entry fees for the park days, group lunches during park days, and van transportation for the group (one 12-person van reserved; a second van may be rented if needed). Flights, hotel incidentals, dinners, personal snacks, and drinks are not included. Total capacity is limited to 22 participants; a wait list will be enabled after that.

Planned runs include short morning and afternoon runs, a longer east or west rim run, and an easy riverside run. Typical itinerary items described are travel day, two short runs, a 17–20 mile rim run to Cable Mountain or the West Rim Trail, and a final easy 4-mile run along the Virgin River.

Pricing follows tiered registration fees: Early $450, Standard $500, Late $650. Refunds are available on a schedule with decreasing refunds and increasing cancellation fees; after September 18 no refunds are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
