Course, logistics and awards

The course is a 10K loop on Wright's Mountain. Trails range from easy runnable sections to steep, rocky and rooty terrain, with a steeper climb to the peak followed by a downhill through the woods. There is one road crossing, and the loop begins on private property; runners are asked to stay on public trails when training.

The start/finish area serves as the parking and pit area for the timed races. 12-hour runners are assigned space to store a drop bin; shelter for those bins is not guaranteed. 30-hour runners receive a 10 ft by 10 ft pit area and may set up tents the night before after pre-registration. Finishers receive event tarot cards and other awards: top performers in each distance receive a Devil's Skull, 30-hour milestones include specific tarot cards, and a belt buckle is awarded for completing 100 miles.
