The Groton Forest Trail Run offers three different race distances: a 6.2-mile course with 1100 ft. of elevation gain, a 15-mile course with 3200 ft. of elevation gain, and a 26.5-mile marathon course with 5,000 ft.

of elevation gain. The routes feature stunning views of Lake Groton, Big Deer, Little Deer, and Owls Head, as well as loops around Kettle and Osmore Ponds. The event is a fundraising initiative with proceeds going to local partners to support the community and inspire outdoor activity, especially among youth.
