Devil Makes Three 50k and 10 Mile

The Devil Makes Three event offers two distances: a 50K ultramarathon and a 10 Miler. The race takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Waxhaw, North Carolina.

The 50K course consists of a loop of over 10 miles, which participants run three times. The terrain includes a mixture of technical trails, prairie grass, double-wide wooded trails, and scenic lake views.

There is a main aid station located at the start/finish line in a wide, open field where runners can set up personal canopies or tents. An additional on-course oasis provides water and electrolytes. This is a cup-less race, so participants must bring their own water bottle or hydration pack.

A finisher's medal is included with registration. A custom t-shirt is available as an optional add-on during registration or may be available on race day. The event emphasizes a low entry fee.

Time limits are 10 hours for the 50K and 9 hours for the 10 Miler. The race organizers state there are no refunds for registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
