The event takes place in Queen Creek, AZ, on Saturday, Jan 10, 2026. It offers four race options listed for the event: Hummingbird (Mini), Quail (Short), Roadrunner (Middle), and Owl (Trail). Series information and scoring

The race is part of the Desert Runner Trail Series. Points for the Series accumulate from the start of the 2025 Fall races (Pass Mountain) through the end of the 2026 Spring races (Mesquite Canyon). There are five series categories: Hummingbird (Mini - Spring Series only), Quail (Short), Roadrunner (Middle), Owl (Trail), and Hawk (Ultra). Points from both 50 mile and 50 km races count toward the ultra series, with points calculated separately by race. If a runner completes more than three of the seven Desert Runner Trail Series races, the top three race scores are used for their Series total.
