Event details

Desert Runner Trail Series - Spring Pass is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2026, in Queen Creek, AZ. Registration for the event closes on Monday, January 5 at 11:59 PM MT. The event is part of a cupless initiative; UltrAspire reusable cups will be available at registration and on race day, and participants may bring their own cups.

Series and race information

The event includes multiple trail race categories: Hummingbird (Mini), Quail (Short), Roadrunner (Middle), and Owl (Trail). These races are part of the Desert Runner Trail Series, which uses a points system that runs from the start of the 2025 Fall races through the end of the 2026 Spring races. There are five series categories overall: Hummingbird, Quail, Roadrunner, Owl, and Hawk (Ultra). Points from both 50 mile and 50 km races count toward the ultra category, and the series counts a runner’s top three race scores if they enter more than three of the seven Desert Runner Trail Series races.
