Course and logistics

The course uses singletrack with steep climbs, desert terrain at lower elevations, and pine-covered alpine terrain near the summit of Mt. Lemmon. The route reaches the ski town of Summerhaven, where runners will encounter aid and refreshment points. The 100K includes about 12,000 ft of climbing and has a 24-hour cutoff. The 50K includes about 8,000 ft of climbing and has a 12-hour cutoff. Aid stations will provide gels, drink mix, electrolytes, hot and cold food, snacks, candy, chips, water, and similar supplies.
