Dar Snowshoe Scramble

Goshen, United States • 25 Jan 2026

Event overview

The event is an informal, low-key running or snowshoe race with no prizes, no t-shirts, and minimal organization. The course is still being finalized but will be around 10k total and, depending on snow conditions, will be between 5k and 10k in length. Light refreshments will be available after the race; participants may bring items to share.

Equipment and team competition

Loaner snowshoes will be available from Dion Snowshoes, and the race director has a few additional pairs. Rental fee for borrowed loaners is $10. Participants are asked to bring spare pairs if they can to help others. A team competition will score the fastest four finishers from each team or club; entrants should register under the same team or club name. Teams may be official clubs or informal groups of friends. The fastest team will receive bragging rights and a shared baked treat. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
