The course is a two-lap route that starts and finishes near the winery front and tours the vineyards. The route is cross country style, with areas of uneven footing and some inclines; it is described as suitable for runners and walkers. Strollers are allowed but not recommended because of the uneven ground. Leashed dogs are allowed.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible portable wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, race photos available for download, and a wine pour (minors do not receive the wine glass or the wine pour). The event offers age group awards for top three finishers in ten-year categories (1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Over); competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards. Packet pick-up is held on race day morning only.
