Corral Canyon Trail Scramble : May 16, 2026

The Corral Canyon Trail Scramble takes place at Corral Canyon Campground in Campo, California, inside the Cleveland National Forest. The event offers four course options with mixed terrain and multiple opportunities to pass through the campground.

Distances:

  • 5 Miler
  • 9 Miler
  • 14 Miler
  • 50 Km

All courses include rocky sections, sandy footing in places, and some fire road. Routes will be marked with ribbon, flour, and signs. The campground at the starting area is dry camp and operates on a first come, first served basis.

Course details:

  • The 5 Miler leaves the campground, climbs over large rocks for about three quarters of a mile, follows technical downhill trail, then transitions to a smooth jeeping trail and a dirt road back to camp.
  • The 9 Miler begins on a forest access road, moves onto OHV trails after about 1.5 miles, then follows a dirt road and single track with uphill rocky obstacles before a downhill run to the finish.
  • The 14 Miler combines the 9 mile route with the 5 mile scramble loop before returning to the finish.
  • The 50K runs the 14 mile loop, returns to camp, then completes the 9 mile loop and finishes with the 5 mile scramble loop.

Aid stations are located on the course, and an aid station at camp provides access to personal drop bags when participants pass through. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
