Corox 2.0 Fitness Challenge

The Corox 2.0 Fitness Challenge is a functional fitness event located in Tyrone at the Core Performance Gym, situated on the Derrylaughan Gfc grounds. The competition takes place in an outdoor setting and integrates functional training movements with timed running intervals. The course features a 1 km track used for the running segments of the race.

Participants are required to complete 8 exercise stations. Between each of these stations, athletes perform either a 1 km or a 500 m run, depending on the specific category selected. The exercise stations consist of a variety of bodyweight movements and equipment-based functional exercises.

On-site facilities include changing and shower areas, hydration stations, and a coffee van. Dedicated spectator areas are provided for those watching the event. Parking is located at the Washingbay centre, which is 50 m from the venue. Check in is required 30 minutes before the assigned wave start time. A NIMRA League mountain race at Leitrim Lodge on 11 April 2026, around 13 km with 682 m of ascent. The course includes marked junctions and checkpoints but is not fully waymarked, and mandatory kit and navigation are required.

An 8 km forest path race with 300 m climb in Castlewellan Forest Park. It is the first race in the 2026 Hills and Dales series, organised by Newcastle AC and based at the Life Adventure Centre.

A trail race in the Hill and Dale series at Kilbroney Forest on 30 April 2026, featuring an 8 km route with 500 m of climb. Entry is via SiEntries and competitors must be at least 15 years old.

A mountain race in the Hills and Dales series at Meelmore Lodge, covering 7 km with 700 m of climb on an unmarked route. Entry rules include a minimum age of 15 and required full body cover.
