Course, markings and equipment

The route will have only major junctions marked. GPS devices are not allowed. Event difficulty is listed as 3.

Mandatory kit is Level B - Standard and includes a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent. Runners must be able to carry the required kit. The exact kit to be carried during the race may be finalised on the day and will be advised at registration. Failure to carry required items may lead to denied entry or disqualification; random kit checks may be carried out.

Entries, volunteering and carpool

Entry details are not yet available; entries for league events usually open a couple of weeks before the event. Non-running volunteers must have completed two non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for the end-of-year prize. Volunteers should aim to assist at least once for every ten events they run. Running volunteers should check with the race director; volunteering while also running does not count toward the volunteer qualification. Carpooling options are available through the event system.
