Copper Harbor Trails Fest

The Orbion x Copper Harbor Trails Fest is a three day event hosted by the Copper Harbor Trails Club, held over Labor Day Weekend, September 4 to 6, 2026. The 33rd annual gathering combines mountain bike competition, trail running, live music, and community activities across multiple venues in Copper Harbor.

Event programming includes cross country, downhill, and enduro races with sport, expert, and beginner classifications and wave starts. A 10K trail run and junior mountain bike races are part of the weekend schedule. Additional on-site activities listed for the event include a farm to trail dinner, a movie in the park, awards ceremonies, live music at Donny Kilpela Memorial Park, and a raffle drawing.

The King and Queen of the Mountain designation is awarded to competitors who enter the Expert Enduro, Long XC, and Downhill events; ranking is determined by summing finishing places with the lowest combined score winning. The Beast Mode award recognizes one man and one woman who complete the event sequence that includes the 10K trail run and the three bike disciplines.
