Back 9 Endurance Run
Copper Harbor, United States • 23 May 2026
Back 9 Endurance Run is a 12/24-hour ultramarathon held at Keweenaw Mountain Lodge in Copper Harbor, Michigan. Runners complete a 3.68-mile loop through wooded trails and parts of the lodge’s wilderness golf course, with occasional views of Brockway Mountain and Lake Superior, all inside the Keweenaw Dark Sky Park—the UP’s only dark-sky designation. The event offers solo or team formats (2- or 4-person teams). Rules require one runner on course at a time for teams; solo runners begin a new loop every two hours, with pacing allowed for 24-hour participants. Runners should plan for variable spring weather and carry mandatory gear. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
