The event is a 10 kilometre trail race run within the private, historic Lulworth Estate near Lulworth Cove and the Jurassic Coast. The course length is 10km with about 175 m of ascent. The route runs on off-road tracks and paths over chalk downland and through woodland.

Course, facilities and rules

The course is sign-posted and marshalled; participants remain responsible for their own navigation. Surfaces are mostly dry trails but some sections may be muddy after rain. The race is cupless; water stations are provided on the course and at the finish. A café at the event serves home made cakes. Trail shoes are recommended, though road shoes are acceptable in dry conditions.
