Comber Cup

Comber Cup 2025, hosted by Ballydrain Harriers, takes place at Billy Neill Playing Fields, Comber Road, Dundonald, Northern Ireland. This cross-country fixture is a regular part of the Northern Ireland Cross Country League and is run on the Ballydrain course (not the Bobby Rea course). The programme includes youth races—Primary 6 & 7 (1K), Under 14 and Under 16 (1.4K x2), Under 18 (1.4K x3)—followed by senior races: the John McKeag Cup (5.5K) with a Female Team Race across Open/Under 20/Masters and Male Vets 60+, and the Comber Cup (8K) for male Open/Under 20/Masters teams. Trail runs nearby

Pair up for the Castlewellan Christmas Cracker, a festive 8.5 mile team race through scenic forest, fields and roads with medals and cash prizes for top teams. Post race soup and rolls add a warm, celebratory finish.

Enjoy scenic runs from Hillsborough Castle through wooded trails and historic sights with 10K and half marathon options. Expect themed medals, pacers and a lively event village, all raising funds for Northern Ireland Hospice.
