College of the Canyons 51st Annual Cross Country Summer Series
The College of the Canyons Cross Country Summer Series runs on Thursday evenings from July 16 to August 13, 2026. The series is presented in support of the college cross country and track and field programs and is sponsored by Fleet Feet. The updated schedule includes five individual race entries held across the summer.
Participants run a three mile course that begins at Mike Gillespie Field, winds through the Valencia campus and surrounding hillsides, and concludes at Cougar Stadium. A special kids race for younger participants is held on the track inside Cougar Stadium.
Distances offered:
- 3 Miles main course through campus and surrounding hillsides
- 1 Mile kids race on the Cougar Stadium track
Entry fees vary by event. Adult entry is $10 per race for the first five events and $20 for the final race on August 13, which includes a post-run dinner and awards ceremony. Kids race entry is $2 for the first four events and $10 for the final event, which includes a post-run dinner. Kids race registrations are available in person on event day. Each kids race runner receives a participation ribbon.
Awards for the top three men and women in each age division are presented after the final event. Age divisions include 10 and under, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69 and 70 and above. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
