Valley Crest Trails returns in 2026 in Tarzana, Los Angeles, hosted by Anytime Runners, LLC. The event includes multiple trail distances on the Dirt Mulholland fire road, a ridgeline route with wide open views that pass near the Nike Missile Site overlook.

The route is a runnable fire road with rolling terrain, steady climbs, and a fast but demanding downhill finish. The course is largely exposed with very limited shade. Mid July conditions are likely to be hot and dry, and the surface can reflect heat during the day. An official race shirt and finisher medal are provided to participants.
The half marathon relay is a two-person team event with each runner covering about 6.5 miles and a mid-course exchange on Dirt Mulholland. Capacity for the relay is limited to 25 teams.
Course marking and volunteer direction will be used to help runners follow the route. Because this is a summer trail event with exposed conditions, runners are expected to carry what they need and pace responsibly. The organizer may modify, postpone, or cancel the event for extreme weather, wildfire risk, air quality, permit issues, or other safety concerns.
