Coastal Guided Trail Run

This is a fully guided coastal trail run covering 19 miles from Holme Next The Sea to Wells Next The Sea. The route follows large sections of the Norfolk Coast Path and passes through small villages, tidal marshes and pine woodlands, providing opportunities to see local wildlife and open coastal skies. A cafe is available at the finish in Wells.

The event is not a race. Participants are placed into groups of similar ability and the run is led at a conversational pace by a fully qualified Run Leader. A fully stocked aid station is provided at the halfway point. The organiser allows up to five hours for the route. One pound from each entry is donated to the Norfolk Trails Team.

The recommended experience level is intermediate. Terrain includes short sections of road, tracks, hard-packed trails and beach; trail shoes are advised. Runners should carry at least 500 ml of water, snacks, and clothing suitable for the weather such as a waterproof jacket or sun protection.

Parking at Holme Next The Sea is pay and display; travel back to parked cars from the finish in Wells is not included. The regular Coasthopper bus may be used for return travel and costs around £3.60. Entry fee shown in event information is £25.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
