Coastal Dash 2026

This is the 26th Coastal Dash hosted by Dawlish Coasters. The event is an approximately 4 mile multi terrain running race that includes sandy beach, sea wall and coastal footpath sections. The route starts at Dawlish Warren and begins with an out and back section along the beach. After leaving the beach runners follow the sea wall toward Dawlish, cross a footbridge over the railway line and return along the coastal footpath to the start via another footbridge. The course is mainly flat with one climb. Race permit ARC/26/0452.

Race headquarters is outside The Boathouse, Dawlish Warren EX7 0NF and the event takes place on 11 June 2026. Numbers are collected from Race HQ on the evening of the event. Car parking and toilet facilities are within easy walking distance of Race HQ; there are no showers or changing facilities. Baggage may be left in a supervised area but no tickets or labels will be issued so items are left at participants own risk.

The event is cupless; water top up points will be available and participants should bring a cup or bottle. Transfers are available for an admin cost of £2. Entries on the day may be possible with an additional £2 charge. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and a complementary ice cream. Proceeds include a donation to the Dawlish Warren Junior Rangers to support local children learning about wildlife and the environment. Entry categories include affiliated and unaffiliated tickets.
