Cloudcroft Ultra 53K : Zenith Park, Cloudcroft, NM
The event on August 15, 2026, features multiple trail distances based out of the Pavilion at Zenith Park in Cloudcroft, New Mexico, in the Sacramento Mountains at approximately 8,600 ft elevation. Courses use the Rim Trail (T105), a historic rail‑bed and single‑track route that passes through stands of fir, pine and quaking aspen and offers views down to the Tularosa Basin.

The 53K, 9.5 mile and 4.75 mile races are out-and-back on the Rim Trail. The 53K adds a lollipop loop near the summit for extra elevation and scenery. The Kid's Dash is a loop around Zenith Park designed for children and families. All races start and finish at the Pavilion in Zenith Park.
Aid and race services include six aid stations for the 53K stocked with water, sport drink, gels and snacks; two aid stations for the 9.5 mile; and permitted drop bags for the 53K at about mile 13 and mile 20. Chip timing is provided for all distances. Crew access for the 53K is allowed at Aid Stations 1/6 and 3/4 with local driving directions posted by the organizers.
Registration fees vary by date and distance. All events are non refundable. Finishers receive a custom shirt and a finisher medal; guaranteed shirt sizes are available to early registrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
