City Challenge Race | Jersey City
City Challenge Race returns for its 12th year in Jersey City on September 12, 2026. The event is staged at Colgate Clock Plaza at the foot of Essex Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302, and is the only City Challenge event scheduled for the year.
The race uses a fast 3-mile urban obstacle course with more than 20 city-style obstacles and no mud. The organizer provides professional chip timing, brand new finisher medals for this edition, awards for top overall finishers, and free race photos. Registration information in the event entries shows a registration period from December 2, 2025 to March 15, 2026, with listed fees ranging from $50 to $60; pro categories carry the higher fee.
