Cirque Series at Alyeska Resort
The Cirque Series returns to the Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska, for a trail running event. The race covers a distance of 6.1 miles and features 3,912 feet of vertical gain. Participants can register for three distinct categories: Pro, Expert, and Sport. The event is limited to a maximum of 700 runners.
The race utilizes electronic timing with disposable chips located on the back of each participant's bib. To ensure accuracy, bibs must not be folded or crushed. Hydration stations are provided during the race at designated aid locations and at the finish line.
Participants can compete for various awards and prizes based on their division:
- Pro Division: Cash prizes for top finishers.
- Expert Division: Gear prizes for top finishers.
- Sport Division: Gear prizes for top finishers.
Additional recognition is provided for the Masters 55+ category, the 17 and Under category, and specific awards such as the Grom Award for the youngest competitor and the OG Award for the oldest competitor. A Middle of the Pack Award is also given to the runner who finishes exactly in the center of the field.
The event follows Leave No Trace principles. Runners are required to dispose of waste in proper containers and are encouraged to carry their own water. The course terrain requires respect for private property and adherence to local land management guidelines.
