Cirque Series Alyeska, AK : July 25, 2026
The event is a mountain trail race at Alyeska Resort in Alaska. The course distance is 6.1 miles with 3,912' ft vert. The race field is capped at 600 runners. Early bib pickup and race morning bib pickup are provided, and a Vendor Village with demos and music will be onsite. Participants receive a snapback, a giveaway ticket, a logoed bib and medal, a sponsor swag bag, and free professional race photos.
The route begins near sea level at the DayLodge and moves onto Tanaka Cat Service Road to “TV Corner,” then climbs through the lower bowl to the Silvertip single track mountain bike trail. From the top of Silvertip the course gains Center Ridge with a steep scramble up to Teacup Bowl and across to the Headwall at about 3,800 feet. A ridge section includes up and down running before a gradual downgrade to roughly 3,300 feet at MAX’s weather station. The descent goes through loose rock and mountain heather into Max’s Mountain trail, which drops through hemlock and spruce with moss covered logs and loamy soil before exiting back to Tanaka Cat Road and returning to the DayLodge finish.
The organizers note the course is direct and steep. All runners must follow course flagging and marshal instructions, inspect Center Ridge before race day, and meet a strict cut off time of 50 minutes at the beginning of Center Ridge. Runners are asked to use careful footwork, warn others if they dislodge rock, and follow safety guidance on course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
