There are five aid stations along the course and pitchers available to fill hydration packs or bottles. Amenities at the Daylodge include parking, bathrooms, and gear storage. Participants are asked to carry their own water and bear spray as needed.

Race policies include no refunds, no bib transfers, and a marathon-specific time cutoff at the Crow Creek Road aid station (strict cutoff enforced). AirPods are discouraged and dogs are not allowed for racers or spectators. The event is a fundraiser for the Girdwood Nordic Ski Club; awards and post-race food are provided.
