ON TOUR - The 24 Cider Challenge 2027

Running Events Devon stages a trail running weekend at Myncen Farm, Minchington, Blandford Forum, Dorset. The main event is a 24 hour solo challenge. The programme also includes a 12 hour solo night challenge, a 12 hour daytime challenge available for solo runners or teams of 2, 3, 4, or 5, and a series of shorter trail events over the same weekend, including a 5k-ish run and an approximately 10 km Apple Plod. Two informal runs called the Bell & Bumble Short Plod and the Bell & Bumble Tad Longer Plod are listed among the Sunday events.

The course is described as undulating trail and takes place entirely on private farmland. Participants will run on and through fields, grass, wild flowers, crops and dusty tracks. Entrant capacity is limited to 40 for the listed event. Minimum age for entry is 18 years. Entries close on 22/07/2027. Price categories shown are Affiliated £70.00 and Unattached £72.00. Camping over the weekend is offered as an option.

Family friendly inflatable obstacle run in Bournemouth with untimed 2.5k laps, multiple distances, music zones, a finisher medal and water stations.

A community-organised road half marathon and multi-terrain 5K around Sturminster Newton on 2 August 2026, with water stations, marshals, a race T-shirt and finish cake. Online entries close 1 August; day entries possible if places remain.
