FES PTO Chocolate Truffle Shuffle 5K Trail Run

The Chocolate Truffle Shuffle 5K Trail Run takes place at Giddings Park in North Franklin, Connecticut. Organized by the Franklin Elementary School PTO, this chocolate-themed event is held on National Truffle Day and utilizes the park's trail system.

The 5K course consists of three loops around the trails of Giddings Park. Participants encounter one large hill during each loop, resulting in a total elevation gain of 235 feet. The event is chip timed by The EMPIRE Timing Co. All finishers of the 5K race receive a custom-designed medal. Awards are presented to the overall male and female finishers, as well as winners within specific age divisions.

The event is open to participants of all ages and is dog-friendly. The 800m fun run is specifically designed for children aged 12 and under. Bib pick-up occurs on the day of the race at the park location. Same-day registration is permitted via credit card payment.
