Event overview

Chingona Fest is a two-day running and camping fundraiser for Chingonas on the Run held June 27-28, 2026 in Pearblossom, CA at a group campground within the Angeles National Forest. The weekend combines overnight camping with a timed trail running challenge and community activities. The event is intended for women and those whose identity aligns with womanhood; trans, non-binary, and gender-expansive people are welcome. The event is closed to cis men.

Course and logistics

The main event is a 6-hour challenge in which participants complete as many loops as they can within the timed window. Each loop is 4.16 miles with 728 ft of elevation gain and includes single-track trail sections and a summit of Mount Hillyer on every circuit. Loops start and finish at a basecamp aid station that provides food, snacks, hydration, and on-course support.

Registration includes the campground fee and a parking pass. Event provisions listed by the organizer include grab-and-go breakfast, Saturday dinner, a post-run lunch, festival swag in a welcome goodie bag, a finisher’s medal, and free professional event photos. The weekend also includes post-run celebration activities and opportunities to borrow camping gear through organizer-arranged resources.
