Event Overview

The Chingona Fest Campout is a two-day community event combining camping and trail running as a fundraiser. It takes place at the Group Campground in Pearblossom, California, within the Angeles National Forest.

Event Structure

The main running activity is a 6-hour challenge on the second day. Participants complete as many loops of a single trail course as they can within the time limit. Each loop is 4.16 miles long with 728 feet of elevation gain. The trail summits Mount Hillyer on each loop. An aid station is located at the basecamp start/finish area.

Schedule & Amenities

Camp check-in is on the first day. The running challenge starts on the second day. The event includes a campground fee and parking pass with registration. Meals provided are dinner on the first night, a grab-and-go breakfast, and a post-run lunch on the second day, plus refreshments. Other inclusions are a welcome goodie bag, finisher medal, professional event photos, and a post-run celebration. Gear borrowing can be arranged via email.
