Chief Wetona Challenges

The Chief Wetona Challenge is a family-friendly running event featuring two course options: a four-mile and a seven-mile race, set in the scenic Mt. Pisgah State Park. The race emphasizes inclusivity, offering free entry for children under 12 and a reduced fee for teens aged 13-18.
Participants can enjoy a pancake brunch and cupcakes after the race. The courses are designed for beginners, with a total elevation gain of approximately 900 feet in the seven-mile option. Proceeds from the event support local initiatives that promote outdoor activities and provide food assistance.
