The STRC Trailfest, hosted by the Southern Tier Running Club, takes place at Newtown Battlefield State Park in Wellsburg, NY. This unique event features a 3-hour trail challenge on a scenic 1-mile loop trail with approximately 300 feet of elevation gain per lap. Participants can run, hike, walk, or stroll as many loops as they wish within the time limit, with a fully stocked aid station available. The event welcomes all fitness levels, with free entry for STRC members and a small fee for non-members. Following the challenge, a relaxed summer picnic with food, games, and socializing is held for participants and members, fostering community spirit in a beautiful outdoor setting.
