Kanyon Kids Trail Run

Kanyon Kids Trail Run is a free event for children aged 12 and under held in Wellsboro, PA at 344 Kerr Road. The event is organized by Tyoga Running Club and is intended to introduce young people to trail running.

The course is a 5 K loop with over 750 feet of elevation gain. The trail includes two small stream crossings that may or may not wet participants' feet depending on recent weather. The course is well marked and staffed with volunteers and guides; a pacer may be arranged for children who need one. Guardians are welcome to run or walk with their child.

Lunch will be provided and includes items such as burgers, hot dogs, and fruit cups. Bottled water and other beverages will be available. Food servers will wear masks and gloves. Photos from the event may be shared online; participants or guardians can request that their images not be shared and organizers will make efforts to honor those requests.

Registration notes state that registrants should sign in as a guest when registering a child and should not register as themselves. Official registration closes on Mon, Jul 13 at 11:59 PM ET.
