Kanyon Kids Trail Run

Kanyon Kids Trail Run is a free trail race for children aged 12 and under held in Wellsboro, PA near the east rim of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. The event uses a single 5K loop course with over 750 feet of elevation gain and two small stream crossings that may affect footing depending on recent weather.

The organizer, Tyoga Running Club, provides finisher medals, T shirts, and a post race lunch at no cost to participants. The lunch menu includes burgers, hot dogs, fruit cups, and bottled water; servers will wear masks and gloves. Volunteers and course guides will be present along a well marked route.

Guardians may run or walk with their children on the course. If a guardian prefers not to run, event staff may be able to arrange a pacer for a child. Photos from the event will be shared online unless participants request to opt out. Official registration closes on July 13 to assist with T shirt orders, and registrants are asked to sign in as a guest when registering a child.
