Chelmsford Brew Co Summer Ale Trail Run

Great Baddow, United Kingdom • 21 May 2026

Chelmsford Brew Co Summer ale trail hike & run 10k

The event on 21 May 2026 offers a choice between a competitive trail run and a relaxed hike on a GPX/Strava route with a narrative backup. The organised distance is 10 km. Entry includes a drink, a packet of crisps at the brewery finish and a finisher's medal. A TRA permit number is recorded as 7402 (TBC) and there is a £2 levy for non TRA/EA members.

The organiser notes that parking at the brewery is not available for most of the event and is limited even later; alternative parking at The Vineyards or on nearby residential streets is mentioned. Bicycles, hire scooters and walking are suggested as transport options, and local bus services serve the area. A small area of the bar is available for bag storage at participants' own risk. Registration takes place inside the brewery and finish procedures include a marshal noting entry time and marking race numbers, after which race numbers are handed to bar staff to claim the finisher's drink. The route GPX is available for download and a narrative and map are planned to be added in June. Total places are limited to 50. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
