Central Illinois Summer Trail Series

The second race of the Central Illinois Summer Trail Series takes place at Black Partridge Park in Metamora, Illinois. This park serves as the home course for the Metamora Redbirds cross country team. The event area encompasses over 450 acres of land and focuses on the local trail network.

The course features flowing singletrack trails that navigate a variety of natural terrain. Participants move through deep ravines and cross several creeks via bridges. The route includes climbs up steep hillsides reaching wooded plateaus, as well as sections that roll through mature forests. Runners can expect technical sections and natural obstacles throughout the shaded canopy.
